Reporting.

Last Saturday, there was a tournament held on Big Bozz Cafe and at least 14 teams joined the tournament. The games were really fun to watch because of the strategies they had and the way players use the same hero but in different playing styles or different builds.

The tourney ended at 1pm the next day, Sunday. And it ended really great, because players were pretty satisfied with what they got and the organizer and the owner of the Cafe was pretty happy with the results of the tourney. Because of this, I already heard a rumor of the next tournament happening this May and the prices at stake would be bigger, around 30k and other stuffs.

I still have a lot of time to prepare a team and get better because I also heard another rumor of players from other places are coming for this. Who wouldn't? At 10k pot money there were already lots of players who came, How much more if its 30k right? So, I hope me and the team I form would get better in time. I want to experience great games like the ones I saw and know the feeling of winning several games.

I'm starting to get excited right now. Wish me luck with this and hope the tourney this MAY ain't just a rumor.

Weeks Abence.

I've been out for a couple of days and its not because of some technical problem or anything. I just got tired of going online for quite a bit and I took a couple of days off for me to get the hang of it again and be more active. I think I got my well deserved rest and I will be posting more on the next few days.

Going back on the technical problem. At first I really just got tired of coming online didn't even bother logging in for 4 days. But after that, when I think I was ready to come online again. It seemed something is making me rest some more. My PC seem to have a problem and wont turn on. Which is why, I was out for 2 more days. And now I'm here.

Back on the posting for me. Hope you'll like the new posts.

Dot.A game! At last!

At last I had some decent games after quite some time. My friend from Cebu invited mo to have a 3v3 match with some friends of his. I was so excited to have a Dot.A game since I haven't played for quite some time and well, I was not disappointed with the games. It all went so smooth and there was no problem. I played to games with them as to I wasn't able to play on the third because the enemy didn't have enough players. So, I just left and thanked them or the 2 games they let me played in.


Here are some stuffs about the games.

On the first game, I was Mirana(again) and got a simple lane against Nerubian Assassin. It was an easy lane because I get to kill him a lot of times and he was not that good. Well, I had some fun on the lane because of that though. I farmed fast on the lane because Nerubian left After I killed him 4 times. As to the other lanes, we seem to be in control because my allies were killing the enemy every time. We obviously won the game and the enemy said they want a rematch.

On the rematch I got Vengeful Spirit and went against Prophet. I totally owned him and killed him a lot. I got to roam around too and help out in killing on the different lanes. We also won the game as to I went to a 15-0 Spree until the game ended. It was an easy win for me because I got my items early and was able to escape death a lot. Which made me laugh because I would have died a couple of times with only one hit but I managed to escape.

The enemy wanted another rematch, but they were short on players thats why I wasn't able to play on the next game.

After some time, I had fun with the games that I played. How I wish all games are like those. Where theres no problem and just going on smoothly. No trash talking and other verbal warfare.

Todays Games!!

I have played a lot of games today and none of it was Dot.A. Its kinda weird that I made this blog to write stuffs about Dot.A and write some daily games, but I don't play the game anymore. Its just that I don't like playing Dot.A when I don't know who my allies are because some random people really suck at it and just ruins my game or the fun of the game.

I played more than 10 games today. Around 6 mafa td, 2 tree tag, 1 archers and 1 Angel arena. I had fun with all those games because I played with some of my clan mates and some other people that just want to have fun. I liked my Mafa TD games a lot because I met a new friend there. We played mafa in all the 6 games. Even though we didn't finish it even once it was still fun.


I'll try to pay Dot.A later tonight if my friends come online and maybe we'll be able to play together. If not, I'll stick with my tree tag room and play different games that will be made.

Thoughts....

I have been thinking about stuffs lately. Its something about the team that I want to bring and try out in a tournament thats coming up. The one that I just posted recently and I am having second thoughts about the team because we don't play together much and we don't have any practice. It would be very useless to join the tourney because we'll surely be just handing out our money and were wasting our money and time there. If it will be like this it would be better if we don't join at all. We wouldn't be wasting something or anything.

I talked to one member that I have been planning the whole time and we both thought that if it would only be the two of us. We'll just look for players that will be more serious about the game. We both thought that we'll talk it out first with the current members if we'll have some solution about the current problem we are facing. If we cant make any solution to it, I think we better find other players which are also our friends to play with us. The ones that we think are good enough and will be able to practice with us.

This will really be tough for me and my friend to do this. We only have a week to prepare and we haven't started yet. We'll I have been watching replays to learn from them and teach it to the members and maybe try it our if it could work. That is, if we'll be able to form a decent group in time.

I'm really getting frustrated with whats going on as I was the one who picked these people to play because they are worthy and good enough to maybe not put ourselves into shame and put up a good fight even if its a losing battle. I hope we'll find some solution to this and get started. We only have 1 week starting today and its really not enough to make a good team with.

I watched a Good Dot.A replay!

I haven't had any Dot.A games lately because I made a new account and I'm trying to level fast thats why I'm always at the Tree Tag Room. But I just watched a Dot.A replay minutes ago and I laughed at the game.

Its an Asian Dot.A tournament I think and the game was between the Philippines and Singapore.
It had 2 matches and the game that made me laugh a lot because of how good the game was, was the 2nd game.

Well, the game was really one sided, thats why I had fun watching it. Zenith (Singapore) was in control of the game from the beginning. From lanes to runes and basically the whole map. Zenith did great that game and just played really good. I saw that the game was pretty much decided early on, around the 15min mark. Zeniths' teamwork and ganking was great all game.

Tough luck for Phil. Hands down to them though because they were really funny in that game. I think theres a better team than them here in the Phil. Well, they're lucky to be there. Hopefully they dont make a fun of themselves on the games. Good luck to them!

My thoughts...

I feel playing more on the tree tag rooms these days. Its not because I don't like Dot.A anymore but because the people in tree tag room stays in the game more than those on the Dot.A room. We are not playing Dot.A but the games there are surely fun. I get to try new maps tat somehow interest me and makes me want to play more on that map.

I hope Dot.A wouldn't have any leavers. I hope that even if they can see that they are losing miserably, they would still play on and enjoy the game as it is and learn from what their enemies are doing.

I just hope.

Upset on Games.

I think I wont have any daily report on games this time. This is because I haven't finished any games today. I don't know whats the problem on the connections but I know it has something to do with that or our enemies don't want to lose really bad thats why they're leaving the game.

I want to think that way but its really not. Its always got to do with the host of the game as he loses his connection after a few minutes. I hate games like that, where your already starting realy good and suddenly you all get disconnected.

I hope I wont have those kinds of games tomorrow.

Daily Game news...

My daily game post once again.

This time would be a different story. I will tell you guys and gals about the game where me and my team lost. Its not because I just want to write it down for me to be able to write something where I lost. Its because that game was quite different and interesting. It was such a nice game.

It goes like this:

The game started quite good for as because we handled our lanes quite well. Pugna made some early sentry wards to stop clinkz in the middle and break the tower fast. At top, it was quite boring in my lane because I was up against nerubian assassin and he was constantly burning my mana. So, I cant spam my skills that often. He cant kill me too as I bought ring of health at first and he can bring my life down so that he can kill me with combo of his skills. In the middle of the game. We somewhat dominated it. Their Nerub A cant kill any of us in one go even if he already had dagon because we all went for vanguard just for him. We manage to farmed quite good that time as to no one was dying and the enemy was not showing themselves in the map unless they were on their tower. We managed to break the middle at mid game and started to be more care free about the game. We just farmed in different lanes after that and that is where they started to get us. Nerubian A was teaming up with undrying which managed to build guinsoo. Both of them started hunting each one of us and killed us. Because of this, they slowly managed to break our outer towers and gained more moeny for themselves. We didnt even notice that thir Bone Clinkz was getting really hard. We thought our kardel can handle him. Late game. The enemy was able to break our middle barracks because of the same strategy they were doing from the mid game. Hunt then push to give them the advantage. At last, we thought of pushing again when we realized that the enemy are getting stronger. We tried a couple of times but we lack disables as to our enemies had 3 of it. they had 2 guinsoo and 1 impale. Our kardel already had 2 butterfly, satanic and a vanguard but he still dies because they go at him first. They disabled him and killed him as fast as they could and turned to pugna next which was quite soft. We tried to do this a couple of times but couldn't. The enemy did a different thing. They pushed on 2 sides. The bone clinkz at top and undying and Nerub went bot. I tried to handle Clinkz at top which already had S&Y, 2-Butterfly and Buriza. I got radiance, monkey, and butterfly. I thought I can take him n because I have time laps and can escape with shikuchi. But he had Gem and the crit hurts me most as to I didn't have that big HP for it. And I didnt notice that he had gem at first which resulted to my death. I was such a noob there. On the other side. Pugna and Kardel also cant handle undying and nerub because both of them got guinsoo and pugna didn't even try making one even if we already knew that that was what we lack. They easily killed Kardel and pugna at bot and destroyed all of our barracks at the same time. And we LOST.


That goes to show that even if you manage to break 1 of there barracks first doesn't guarantee your victory. Don't be over confident, it may lead you the other way around.


It was a cool game though because all players was quite good and there were no teasing or trash talking inv9lved in the game. It was a game I really like because it was played how it should be. Fun!

News!

Upcoming Tournament!

• There will be an upcoming tournament of Dot.A here in Cagayan de Oro City this January 26-28 to be held in BigBozz Internet Cafe, Pabayo-Hayes street.

• This will be the second -XL mode tournament in the city.

• The prize for the champions would be 10k pesos and T-shirt.

I will post more details about this tourney with in this week.

About me...

This time I want to write stuffs about me and other things that I do other than Dot.A and other Warcraft maps.







In times that I don't play there are three things that I am sure that I'll be doing.

It would be sleeping because I play till 4-6am in the morning so, I need to get some of those.

Second would be watching some DVD's. This was the thing I stay up late for before I played Dot.A at home. I also watch DVD's in the past till 4-6 am or even till 7. Specially when I like the series that I'm watching or the movie is quite long and interesting. This would make me really awake and want to finish the movie or series.

Lastly, I would be out of the house. I don't know where I'll go or where I'm at, but I will surely be hanging with my friends. There would also be times that even if I got out, I would still be paying in the cafe and play with my friends.



These are three things that I'm surely going to do if I'm not playing Dot.A or any other warcraft maps.

Daily Thoughts...

These are some thoughts tat I have realized through the games that I played.

I have seen that most of the players that are really not good talk a lot. This is just based on my experiences in playing GG client.

I made this kind of conclusion because of the fact that from the start of the game, these players really talk and trash talk a lot and they are the ones boasting instead of his ally that killed another player.

Also, I observed that they these kinds of players also like to walk around in the game instructing other players what to do, not knowing that they are the ones who doesn't know what they are doing or doesn't know what to do. I really hate these kinds of players because in games, I like to mind my own business or help in any way I can and play my best. I don like it when people instructs me what to do because of the fact that I know what I'm doing and what I should do.

I don't give any attention to these players in the game. I don't reply to any chat they make. I just do what I have to do and chat every time I need to, to help them get away from any gank the enemy would make. Its up to them to believe me or not.

I hope they would learn how to play really good and how to respect other players like them because other players are respecting them. Its a game that is suppose to be for fun, not a place to have fights with because of some arrogant messages and chats they make on the game acting like they are the greatest players on earth. I hope these people change and learn how to play in a fun way so that other players like them would have fun in the game and not get pissed on some stupid some noob make.

Hope my friends are not like this on GG, because I don't like it. If you are, please change and realize that your not that good yet. I know I'm not that good yet but every time I play with some that I know I'm better with. I just keep quiet or give some simple advice to them to help them and not scold them and tell them they are not good.

Its a game, its for fun, so please don't ruin the game with your selfless comments.

Dialy Game...

Now for my daily game post.

I haven't played lots of Dot.A games yet because I don't feel like playing it. I played some other maps today like Vampire Resu, Tree Tag and Pudge Wars. But I had some few good Dot.A games though.

I played a 3v3 game.
Mirana=Me
Lanaya=ally
Drow=ally
Morph=enemy
Nevermore=enemy
Medusa=enemy

Well, I faced Medusa at start and it was an easy lane as though the medusa seems to be a noob. He doesn't know how to place himself and not be hit by my arrow which is why I dominated him in the lane, but the opposite was happening on the Lanaya- Morph lane as more was dominating the lane which resulted to some lane change. I took morph and I had the advantage because I already have better regen and items compared to him.
Nothing interesting really happened for a couple of minutes until they were trying to push in the middle. I was always lucky then because I was constantly hitting a hero every time I use my stun and we get to kill that hero and makes counter push and kill the other 1 or 2. It was an easy game because the enemy seems to be not that really good and they don't know how to farm for items. It just went like this until we finished the game. The enemy cant escape every time we catch one.

We finished the game after 45+ minutes.

It was an easy game and you can find lots of easy games in GG because there are really people there that feels that they're already good and can handle anyone and talks a lot but really doesn't know how to play.

Hope I find good games soon for me to have something more interesting to write about.

First Game of the Day.

I woke up at 1:30pm today and immediately turned on the computer and tried to look for a good game and I did find one. The server was fast and it was a 5v5 game. So, I thought this game would be fun. Well, I thought wrong. After 20 mins of playing one of my teammate left because he's a noob and doesnt like dieing. 10 mins after that another one left because of server issue. And there, we were playing 3v5. I knew from that moment on that we cant win the game because my allies are not that good and the enemy heroes are getting stronger. But still, I played on and I just though maybe, just maybe we would still have a chance if I'll try to make my hero really strong.


By the way, my hero was razor.

Well, me and my allies was defending really good every time our enemy tries to enter our base and I'm starting to build up my items and kills 2 or 3 enemies every time they try to enter. But then again, even if I kill 2 or 3 enemy heroes my allies also die and the other one cant handle it anymore thats why he also left. So it was me and centaur that was left. From that moment on, it was totally impossible to win. I just told the enemy to just finish the game so that we can pay a new one and hope that no one would leave the game for us to really have some fun. They tried a couple of times and even if they manage to brake one structure at a time. I started to have some little fun because they cant kill me even if there were 3 of them. They were getting frustrated and started arguing with each other which made 2 of their allies to leave. *poof* We now have a chance again. I started to give my ally some items because I already completed mine. The enemy heroes that were left was rikimaru, Dark Seer and luna moonfang. The only hero that doesn't have any item on their side was rikimaru. I dont know why, maybe he doesn't know how to farm. My ally and I tried to push at the middle, and we manage to break one structure their and went back for repots and went back and managed to break the other one. It was all even at that time and our road to victory was getting clearer. After that their rikimaru left and it was a 2v2 battle. But even it was 2v2, they cant win that way which is why me and centaur went out to push on the side and manage to break it and killed the 2 enemy heroes. That moment on it was clear that we will surely win the game and we did.
It was a big turn of events, we surely had our luck there.

Good thing I have some pride and didnt leave the game.

Daily Games!

I play Dot.A daily and I play more than 8 games a day.

It gets boring at times. But also sometimes, if my enemies are really good, I get all pumped up and excited. Also, sometimes I play different kinds of maps, like Vampire Slayer, Tree tag, and other random maps just to have something to do and get my excitement up and be ready to play Dot.A again.

I'll be making post daily about my games of that day. I'll write about the game that I feel very interesting and exciting. Also, I'll be posting some daily art works of the Dot.A heroes. Hope You'll like them.

Last Step! Tournaments.

Tournaments are already normal things in the gaming world and me being part of it. It wouldn't be surprising if I would join one and me and my team did.

The first one we tried was in Cyberkit Cafe. We joined this for some experience and try to see how it really is in tournaments. How good other players from other places really are. Before the game started, me and my friends were all nervous and sleepy, because it was already 11pm and were not used to staying up late much(that time). But when the game started, all of us hust got pumped up and played our best(that time). We won our first match and we all thought, we may have a chance on this. Thats what we all thought but when we faced a team thats really good and they were from another place. We were all at awe. We were just amazed on how good they really play. And at that moment, we all thought that we still have a long way to go.

After that tourney, it took a couple of months when we decided to join another one. And it had the same result. We win the first match, and we get to face that team again. And they got even better. Still a long way to go for us.

After those 2 tourney we already had member changes as though some of my teammate cant stay up late like before and he cant play for too long on week days. Because of this, we looked for some one to replace him. We had several member changes that time, the only member that havent change was me and Dors. Its because both of us can stay out late and are the one always playing.

We are now planning to join another tourney this month and try our luck once again.
We would have another member change because some left for another team and others cant play anymore.

2nd Step! Finding Enemies.

After a couple of months playing with different players, exchanging strategies, giving and receiving money, several trash talking, and etc. You would then surely find people you'll never get along with, even if you play the same game. Thats what I found out after talking back to one of my enemies. Well, it really wasn't talking back. It was answering his question, which he took in a different way.

It goes like this.
He said: "Who took my ring?"
I said: "I did."
Then he just went mad.
Saying: "Good for you my girlfriend is here."

He is weird. I don't even care about her girlfriend and I was not asking. After that he was talking about having to have a fight outside. "Lol" on him. Maybe, he was just ashamed that his girl saw her lose like that. Thats just the way it is. You win some. You lose some.

This is not the enemy I'm talking about. Thats just one example of the thing you get when you play the game. The enemy I'm talking about are the ones to have games with, constant team games. In this way, the team would have a rival team where we'll have constant practice games with. Enemies or Rivals that you constantly play and learn with.

Next Step! Making Friends.

After a couple of months of constantly playing and learning about the game. I became more interested and started to read on forums and learn different kinds of strategies from these websites. Dot.A is basically a 5v5 game and because of this me and my friends started to make a team of 5 and practiced a lot. After a couple of months of practicing, we started to have the guts to play against other teams with bets involved. It started really small, like 20/head or 100/game. After that the bets just got bigger and bigger or it went big when we have the money and just stayed at 20 if we don't.

I felt really nervous every time we play against different teams, because I don't know their capabilities or their strategies. But after awhile of constantly playing against these people. I started to gain my confidence and felt at ease every time we play against them again. Also, because of these games, we started to befriend other players and talked to them about different other strategies and different things about the game. Our team also got bigger as we merge it with the teams of our other friends. In this way we have more rotation of players and that we can practice more because we can play with each other and get to try our different combinations of heroes in the game.

Dot.A is not just a game we play, it became a way of finding and knowing other gamers like me that I can get along with. New comrades that I will be with in the battles that comes ahead of us.

My First Game in Dot.A

It was 3 years ago that I first tried the game and it was also my 1st year in college. One of my high school friends introduced it to me and insisting that I should try it. As a gamer that I am, I immediately went with them and played the game.

I still remember the hero I first used. It was "Dwarven Sniper." My friend picked it for me because they say it was a good hero for starters like me. I also still remember the first item I used. "Battle Fury." As this item is only used by melee heroes and Dwarven was a range hero. My friend told me to make that item. I was new, so, I just believed him.

I already forgot if we won or lost that game. All I know is, from that moment on, I got hooked to the game and improved in playing it.
